Qualifications

• Experience as an Industrial Millwright in industrial maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, gears, bearings, shafts, and couplings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specs, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Proficient troubleshooting and repair skills for downtime reduction.
• Welding and fabrication skills for component repair/modification.
• Familiar with precision alignment techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and safety-conscious work habits.
• Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy machinery.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble new machinery per specs and blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace defective parts.
• Align and calibrate components for accurate operation.
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs.
• Lubricate machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Apply predictive maintenance techniques to detect issues early.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and history.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff, operators, and engineers.
