Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble, Install, maintain, and repair mechanical related equipment and fixtures in accordance with code compliance using hand and power tools.
• Moving machinery and equipment using hoist, lift trucks, etc.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards, defects for adjustment and repair.
• Troubleshoot for proper mechanical operation of equipment and ensure safety systems, guarding, handrails, etc. are in place and functional
• Communicate across various levels of the organization to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure production conformity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses and repair/maintenance.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved to make equipment repairs including the ability to use either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
• Visualization of how something may look after it is moved or when its parts are moved o
• Ability to read blue prints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (i.e. patterns of numbers, letters, words pictures or mathematical operations).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeymen Certificate or equivalent. OSHA ARC Flash Training.
• Heavy manufacturing electrical experience preferred.
