Job summary

Justrite Safety Group, through US Chemical Storage, seeks a skilled Painter to coat metal surfaces on hazmat storage buildings. The role emphasizes durability, corrosion resistance, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Able to read blueprints, mix primers and coatings, and work with electrostatic and cap spray guns. Flexibility for overtime and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years’ experience painting metal surfaces.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Waste regulations.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean, paint, varnish different metal surfaces including exterior/interior of metal buildings.
• Operate/equip with electrostatic and cap spray guns and paint pumps.
• Maintain painting equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
• Use a variety of painting tools including brushes and rollers.
• Dispose of chemical waste safely and properly.
