Job Description Summary

The Industrial Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of system-controlled robotics, machine tools, and equipment.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

1. Identify and evaluate the condition of equipment and determine strategies to repair and rebuild.
2. Own preventative maintenance and extensive repairs; diagnose problems, plan, and complete work; identify and order parts.
3. Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, and facilities, including spindles, pumps, motors, guarding, drives, bearings, lead screws, lubrication fluids, and coolant.
4. Apply knowledge of components, devices, and equipment used in industrial applications and related mechanics, including machine tools, measurement devices, and lathes.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with Military Machinist Training Course.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekends.
• Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM).

Desired Characteristics:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility in a technical maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic fundamentals and safety knowledge, including schematics, precision measurement tools, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

The base pay range for this position is $31.33 to $35.96 per hour with a $5.28 per hour transition adder. The specific pay offered may vary based on experience, education, and skills. This position is eligible for wage increases and COLA, and a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
