McGraw Kokosing, a leading industrial maintenance contractor based in Middletown, OH, seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to support piping and mechanical systems on large-scale construction projects. You will guide the project from pre-construction through final acceptance, with responsibility for safety, quality, budget, and schedules.

Responsibilities include planning, design review, vendor coordination, field inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations while driving productivity

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar construction Project Engineer role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities.
• Ensure compliance with company and contract requirements and support the construction schedule.
• Prepare vendor quotes for materials, equipment and specialty items.
• Track material deliveries and interface with departments on budgeting, staffing and scheduling.
• Review engineering plans and vendor submittals; monitor crew assignments.
• Conduct field walks and spot checks; ensure OSHA compliance.
