Job summary

The role splits 60% project engineering, 20% plant support, and 20% mechanical systems design; travel up to 30% to Morgantown, KY, Steele, AL, and Friendly, WV is required. Requires a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree and 3+ years in heavy industrial settings; PMI/PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related industrial experience in planning, specification, and implementation of engineering design projects.
• PMI/PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience with heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement key capital projects, drive technology improvements, and provide engineering solutions that deliver productivity and improve operations.
• Build partnerships and communicate project expectations to all levels of the organization including team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Role design breaks down to 60% Project Engineering/Project Management, 20% Plant Support, and 20% Mechanical Systems Design.
