Your Key Responsibilities

Schaeffler Aerospace USA Corp. is seeking Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (IMM) Apprentices to join its Connecticut Registered Apprenticeship Program in support of aerospace manufacturing operations. This role combines paid on‑the‑job learning (OJL) with related technical instruction (RTI) to develop the skills required for a career in advanced industrial maintenance within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

As a Registered Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics (journeyworker‑level) while progressively developing technical knowledge and practical skills required for full occupational competency.

• This position is part of a Connecticut Registered Apprenticeship Program
• Mandatory enrollment upon hire in theTechnology Studies Certificate – Mechatronics Automation Technician Optionat a CT State Community College campus
• Ongoing participation and satisfactory progress in both on‑the‑job learning and related technical instruction are conditions of employment
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
