Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a Craft Helper/Labor (Mechanical) to assist in mechanical maintenance at a petrochemical processing plant. Tasks include supporting safety, quality, and efficiency, and assisting with equipment installation and repair across piping, fittings, valves, boilers, tanks, and pumps.

The role requires adherence to safety standards, participation in training, and flexibility to work 9/80 schedules and up to 7 days per week, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have experience using industrial hand and power tools in an industrial work environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an agile mindset.
• Good computing, literacy, numeracy skills, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
• Acceptable Driver’s License and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Must have a strong approach to safety, quality, and efficiency in an industrial environment.
• Assist with preparation, disassembly, repair, fabrication, reassembly, and installation of industrial equipment.
• Provide support services such as firewatch, light equipment operation, material kitting/delivery, and housekeeping.
