Job summary

Our client in West Sacramento, CA is seeking an Industrial Mechanic III to join the team. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment on a day shift.

Key responsibilities include planning repairs, root cause analysis, assisting in equipment purchasing, and maintaining MSDS/SDS records and parts inventories. Strong hydraulics and low voltage experience are required.

• Willingness to cross train and learn new skills in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
• Ability to operate/monitor industrial equipment.
• Background in hydraulics is a MUST!!!
• Background in low voltage controls.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair on industrial equipment.

Pay Rate Range: $34.25

Shift: Day Shift

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair on industrial equipment
• Plan and schedule all repairs and maintenance
• Safely and efficiently perform maintenance tasks to minimize unscheduled downtime
• Perform root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/failures, take required corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions
• Assists General Manager and Superintendent in new equipment purchasing
