• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment, including lead-worker responsibilities.
• Experience in a sugar mill or processing facility preferred; bilingual English/Spanish desirable.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, schematics and diagrams; diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.

• Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to keep equipment running.
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication of pumps, conveyors and electric motors.
• Install, calibrate replacement parts and maintain accurate service records.

JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for advanced maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, including pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, lubrication systems, and pneumatic systems. Work involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining milling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Work is performed under minimal supervision with moderate latitude in the use of initiative. Position relies on experience and exercises some independent judgement to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The essential functions in this job description are intended only as an illustration of the various types of duties that may be performed.
