We are seeking an Industrial Mechanic for a position in Hopewell, VA. The Mechanic maintains and repairs equipment and other industrial machinery, including but not limited to, conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment. Non-exempt role; Reports to Direct Supervisor / Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.
Keep machinery in working order by detecting and correcting errors before the machine or the products it produces are damaged; perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment; records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts; prepares reports documenting work performed; performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
