A day in the life

You start your morning reviewing overnight Work Orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and checking inventory movements in SAP. A heat-exchanger job kit is due this week, so you confirm the bill of materials, verify Positive Material Identification (PMI) details on arriving components, and coordinate with a vendor to expedite a critical gasket set. Midday, you unpack a shipment, stage parts to the correct, clearly labeled bins, and update part numbers in SAP. In the afternoon, you compile KPI and Equipment Tracking reports, process a maintenance return for repair, and brief management on material status for next week’s shutdown tasks.

Where you’ll make an impact

Based At Chemtrade’s Anacortes facility—a spent sulfuric acid regeneration plant that converts hydrogen sulfide into sulfuric acid—you will keep materials and data flowing. You’ll support our Mechanical Integrity Program (MIP), streamline Work Orders, manage stores, and build job kits and BOMs that cut downtime, prevent duplicate orders, and improve repair efficiency.
