Qualifications

• Hands-on SMAW welding experience required.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to diagnose and repair industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with welding safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Perform SMAW welds on carbon steel and metal components to repair, reinforce, and fabricate industrial equipment.
• Repair and fabricate brackets, frames, supports, platforms, and machine components.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and structural integrity.
• Safely operate welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and shop equipment.
• Cut, fit, grind, and prepare metal components for welding and repair.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems including motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
