Job summary

International Steel and Counterweights in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support both production and maintenance operations in a fast-paced environment. You will build hands-on mechanical and electrical experience.

This role offers weekly pay, immediate interviews, and opportunities for career advancement. A high school diploma or GED and experience with hand tools and diagnostic equipment are required to succeed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Basic to strong electrical knowledge preferred.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using testing devices (including voltmeters).
Repair or replace defective components and parts.
Disassemble and reassemble machinery, engines, and mechanical units.
Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment components (pistons, valves, pumps, etc.).
Perform routine inspections to identify issues and prevent downtime.
Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.
Follow work orders, instructions, and maintenance schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
