Peco Foods, Inc. Pocahontas plant is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot, overhaul, repair and maintain plant machinery.

Candidates will perform preventive maintenance, operate production equipment, and ensure safety protocols such as lockout/tagout are followed; they must complete required paperwork and uphold company policies. The role emphasizes strong area proficiency, teamwork, and commitment to food safety and product quality.

Qualifications

Experience with plant machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex systems.
Knowledge of safety policies and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, overhaul, repair and maintain machinery.
Be proficient in assigned area, including layout and equipment.
Demonstrate high proficiency in the department and knowledge of all areas.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
Practice Lock-out / Tag-out procedures daily.
Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain production equipment.
Complete paperwork associated with machinery and duties.
Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to supervisor/plant management.
Adhere to written plant policies and procedures.
