Job summary

Mayorga Coffee is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support production lines in Rockville, MD. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping packaging and conveyance equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will work with the Facilities Manager, climb into roasters, grinders, and related systems, and document work in our maintenance system.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting in manufacturing settings.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment with safety focus.
• Comfort around electrical/pneumatic components and Lockout/Tagout knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and parts replacement.
• Operate forklifts and related equipment per training and safety rules.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager and vendors as needed.
