Job summary

Leslie's Poolmart Inc., through Stellar Manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support chemical manufacturing operations. This on-site role requires hands-on repair of mechanical, electrical, and production equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of maintenance experience, is safety-focused, and proficient in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or completion of relevant technical coursework.
• Read, write, and speak English to document issues and logs; understand manuals and parts catalogs.
• Comfort with basic math, measurements, and interpreting blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment to troubleshoot issues and test performance.
• Review and complete work orders accurately; seek clarification when needed.
• Set up and operate drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to fabricate or repair parts.
• Repair, rebuild, and adjust equipment, including mechanical and control components.
• Install machinery, equipment, devices, and instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including lubrication, filter changes, inspections, and cleaning; document activities.
• Coordinate with supervisor to initiate purchase orders for parts and equipment.
• Maintain accurate logbook entries to document maintenance activities and equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with plant labeling requirements and proper chemical handling.
• Recommend improvements to equipment performance and maintenance processes.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
