Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure production machinery operates smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance on fabrication, hydraulic and coating systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and install/repair equipment on the shop floor.

The role requires basic industrial electrical knowledge, ability to read prints, use measuring devices, and work in a high-pace environment with safety as a priority. OT or weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with machine maintenance in an industrial setting is required.
• Basic industrial electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read prints and measure with various devices.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations in industry.
• Ability to climb, stand, bend, lift heavy objects in confined spaces.
• Exposure to fumes, dust, vibration, noise, and high voltage with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Observe and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions.
• Install machinery/equipment and repair wiring, components, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Repair/replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs and possibly OT or weekend work.
