Job summary

Atlas Molded Products in Martinsville, VA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and service equipment at the Martinsville facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, rebuilding components, and performing preventative maintenance.

Ideal candidates have prior manufacturing experience, knowledge of maintenance systems, and the ability to document work and follow safety procedures. High school diploma or GED preferred; physical work is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with maintenance/mechanical systems preferred.
• Must be able to use basic measuring tools and perform simple math.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, safety requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all equipment and machinery are operating properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root cause.
• Rebuild and reseal components as needed to ensure functionality.
• Assist in repairs to buildings or grounds as needed.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on all machinery.
• Assist with manufacturing and installation of new equipment.
• Document maintenance performed to keep accurate records.
