Job summary

You will observe equipment in operation, troubleshoot issues, dismantle devices, replace parts and test performance to ensure smooth production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various trades.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use hand tools accurately.
• Familiarity with lock out/tag out procedures and OSHA safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles devices to access and replace defective parts.
• Examines parts for wear or imperfections.
• Adjusts and tests functional parts and control instruments.
• Lubricates and cleans components.
• Starts machines to test performance and operability.
• Sets up and operates metalworking tools to make/repair parts.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and equipment.
• Performs building maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
