Responsibilities
Inspect and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment.
Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions.
Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
Operate cutting torch or welding equipment.
Fabricate and repair wooden structures.
Assess procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
