Job summary

DT Midstream (DTM) seeks an experienced maintenance technician to oversee the safe maintenance of mine equipment and to execute preventative and predictive maintenance requests. You will understand operating processes, assist in SOP development, and help maintain compliance with safety regulations.

The role requires working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, the ability to operate heavy equipment, and the flexibility for overtime, weekends, and night calls as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least two years of maintenance experience.
• Background in working with electrical and equipment in an industrial field.
• Strong mechanical ability with experience in powered transmissions.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with welding/fabrication.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, and will be subject to random, for-cause, and post-accident drug testing, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Company's vehicle insurance policy.
• Must pass criminal history background check.
• Must pass fit for duty physical.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in oral and written format.
• Ability to read and understand procedural and safety manuals.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner.
• Must be able to work independently, with minimum supervision.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on mine equipment.
• Receive and execute work requests for maintenance.
• Operate equipment such as rough terrain forklifts and man lifts for maintenance repairs.
• Follow MSHA and OSHA regulatory requirements.
• Assist in SOP and maintenance plan development and modifications.
• Identify and solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments and correspondence.
• Maintain safety and environmental rules and procedures.
