Review maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance plans, and daily projects to ensure tasks are completed on time.
Analyze recurring machinery and equipment problems to develop permanent repair solutions and cost‑saving ideas.
Perform scheduled preventive and routine maintenance in a timely manner.
Look up repair parts via prints, spreadsheets, catalogs, or online resources.
Provide own tools where required (specific facilities only).
Work on mechanical drive systems such as belts, pulleys, speed reducers, roller chains, sprockets, shafts, and bearings used on conveyor systems and tables.
Apply strong troubleshooting skills to mechanical components and systems.
Operate lift truck, scissor lift, boom lift, and other equipment as needed.
Maintain housekeeping duties in maintenance work areas, wiping down machinery after work.
Perform facility/building maintenance, repair, and projects as needed in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and components (3‑phase, single‑phase, AC and DC control voltage) including contactors, drives, photo eyes, proximity switches, coils, limit switches, safety switches, fuses, and breakers.
Replace failed electrical components when needed.
Replace, repair, or fit pipes and piping systems.
Apply hydraulic troubleshooting skills to hydraulic systems, control valves, pumps, cylinders, and pressure transducers.
Follow all company rules, policies, and procedures outlined in the handbook.
Operate and understand lockout/tagout procedures.
Follow all safety procedures and practices.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 1 year of technical experience with 1 year in electro‑mechanical/industrial maintenance or minimum 2 years of experience in the field.
Basic welding and fabrication skills.
Experience in one skill area of hydraulic, electronics, plumbing, robotics, electrical, mechanical, welding, or general carpentry.
Consistent attendance and punctuality.
Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and a clean organized work environment.
Meets productivity standards, completes work timely, and strives to increase productivity.
Observes all safety procedures, reports unsafe conditions, and uses equipment and materials properly.
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
