Job summary

Qualifications

• Two year certificate from college or technical school.
• Four years related experience or combination of education and experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair production equipment and plant facilities.
• Test machinery, listen for abnormal sounds, and diagnose issues with supervisors.
• Perform basic electrical checks on components (continuity, fuses, switches).
• Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean, lubricate, and align shafts, bearings, gears, and related parts.
• Operate machine tools and welding equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and wear provided safety gear.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
