Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our client in the building automation and industrial technology sector. You will maintain, inspect, repair, move, and install plant machinery and equipment, and perform preventative maintenance on factory equipment.

The role requires hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of specialized training, plus 3–4 years of practical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers' training program.
• 3‑4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment.
• Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, inspects, repairs, moves, and/or installs plant machinery and equipment.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Inspection of condition and operation of plant equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Disassembles and repairs production equipment by replacing worn or broken parts.
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.
