Job summary

Oakwood Veneer Company in Troy, MI is hiring a full-time Machine & Facilities Repair Technician for our manufacturing operations. This first-shift role runs 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch, offering stable hours and long-term opportunity in a hands-on industrial environment.

You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on about 15 large production machines, troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, and handle facility

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, machine maintenance, facilities maintenance, or equipment repair.
• Pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and reading electrical schematics is required.
• Physically active role; lift up to ~60 lbs; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on approximately 15 large production machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical components.
• Facility maintenance across multiple buildings, light plumbing/electrical work, HVAC coordination with vendors.
• Equipment installation, relocation, and upgrades; maintain safe, clean, organized work area.
• Own machine performance and facility operations.
