Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Hutchins, TX is seeking a maintenance technician to observe, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair printing equipment and related machinery across the facility. The role involves wiring, power distribution, setting up drills, lathes, grinders, welders, and ordering parts needed to keep presses and components running smoothly.

With a 8:00am to 4:00pm shift on Monday through Friday and the option for flexibility, you will work with a team of colleagues to maintain equipment,

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in industrial electric, electric distribution, or PLCs.
• Ability to read work orders and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math for measurements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Observes, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs printing equipment.
• Calculates and installs main electrical to equipment and power distribution.
• Sets up and operates drills, lathes, grinders, welders, and other tools to make parts.
• Initiates purchase orders for repair parts and related equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
