Job summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for the night shift (6pm - 6am) in Pennsauken, NJ. You will perform mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across the plant, coordinating with production and quality teams to ensure continuous operation and timely repairs.

Responsibilities include wiring motors, sensors, valves, and switches; troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and controls equipment; supporting engineering projects; and

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing/production (food/beverage/pharmaceutical/chemical operations).
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting and PLC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on and around sanitary systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, and steam traps.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Preferred experience in food manufacturing and GMP environments.
• Stainless steel and sanitary welding skills are a plus.
• Blue or Black Seal Boiler License is a plus.

Work Environment

Work the night shift from 6pm to 6am on a 2-2-3 schedule, with initial training on the first shift for 2-3 weeks. Be part of a small team, supporting engineering and supervisors. Expect frequent lifting, stooping, and standing, with occasional exposure to uneven ground, heights, biohazards, excessive noise, extreme temperatures, dust, and fumes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
