Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an entry to mid-level maintenance technician to support factory operations in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The role includes routine break-fix and preventative maintenance, selecting parts, and assisting a collaborative team in maintaining equipment performance.

You will handle basic electrical and mechanical repairs, use standard hand tools, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associate degree with a Technical focus or 18 months of related experience or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems. Can perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including adjusting parts, repairing or replacing defective components, and reconditioning machine tools.
• Identifies needed parts, supplies, and repair items.
• Provides support and back up for other department members as needed by leadership.
• Is aware of Maintenance Industry Standards and 5S/houskeeping standards.
• Participates in CI activities—processes, results and cost savings.
• May set up and operate simple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and perform basic welding tasks.
• Updates records and reviews CMMS history.
• Performs basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry.
• Completes technical self-study programs for career development.
• Follows all safety policies and guidelines; maintains situational awareness.
