Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience in a similar manufacturing environment with control systems, PLCs, CNCs, robots, HMIs.
• Ability to read prints, schematics, and equipment documentation for installation, modification and repair.
• Working knowledge of machine communications including cables and LAN components.
• Safety-focused work in electrical control panels up to 480 volts; 3-phase panels as required.
• Robot certification or Robot Schools training is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and repair all aspects of Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, CNC Grinders, Robots, and other complex machinery.
• Duties include supporting equipment and machinery; PLC programming and HMI/servo controller modifications.
• Jog and reset Fanuc and Denso Robots; teach robot positions for material handling paths.
• Plan and install primary and secondary controls; diagnose electrical/electronic problems and replace parts.
• Prepare wiring diagrams to record changes and perform mechanical repairs as needed.
• Enter all work completed/in progress into SAP work order system and support daily continuous improvement.
• Other duties as deemed necessary to support production.

• Full-time

4-10 hour shifts Thurs-Sun or Sat-Tues night shift hours

• Troubleshoot, install, and repair all aspects of Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, CNC Grinders, Robots, and other complex machinery.
• Duties may include: supporting all aspects of equipment and machinery; including PLC programming and program modifications, programming of HMI’s and servo controllers.
• Jog, and reset Fanuc and Denso Robots.
• Teach / Touch up Robot positions to correct material handling paths.
• Plan and install primary and secondary controls, diagnose electrical/electronic problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test units for proper function, and make final adjustments.
• Prepare wiring diagram to record changes.
• Make mechanical repairs as necessary. Some work and repairs require mechanical repairs, and all techs do this no matter of pay grade.
• Support the daily continuous improvement activities.
• Enter all work completed / in progress into SAP work order system.
• Any Other duties as deemed necessary to support production.

• Minimum of four years experience in a similar manufacturing environment working with Control Systems, PLC's, CNC Controls, Robots, PC's and HMI's.
• Working knowledge of prints, schematics, and equipment documentation for installation, modification and repair of production equipment.
• Working knowledge of machine communications including understanding of communication cables and LAN components.
• Full competency in working safely in electrical control panels of various voltage levels.
• Qualified to work in electrical panels of 3-phase 480 volts and lower using all proper safety procedures and PPE. This will be verified by a practical demonstration before you can work in any panel.
• Good computer, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Communication, Teamwork, and strong customer service skills.
• Prior Robot Schools is a strong plus. (certificate required to operate and teach robots.)
