Job summary

Flowers Foods is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Bardstown, KY. The role focuses on maintaining bakery equipment, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

A technical mindset and willingness to rotate assignments across the facility are essential. Candidates should have HVAC, electrical, or welding experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• HVAC, welding, electrical or related field experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, and general shop practices.
• Perform proper component lubrication and assist with preventive maintenance, as needed.
• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
• Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment

Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency is achieved by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, with safety and quality standards being a top priority. They must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various areas of the bakery. Industrial Maintenance Technicians must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire on-going training due to ever evolving technological improvements and performance standards.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus

Salary Range: $31 - $36 per hour
