Flowers Foods, Inc. in Bradenton, FL is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians to keep bakery operations running safely and efficiently.

You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, rotate assignments across different areas, and pursue ongoing training to stay ahead of evolving technologies. The role requires a technical mindset with strong mechanical skills, a high school diploma or equivalent (trade certifications a plus), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification a plus.
• Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
• Licenses to work with boilers, refrigeration components and related equipment.

Responsabilités

• Learn and demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, and general shop practices
• Perform proper component lubrication and assist with preventive maintenance, as needed
• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
• Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment

Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency is achieved by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, with safety and quality standards being a top priority. They must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various areas of the bakery. Industrial Maintenance Technicians must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire on-going training due to ever evolving technological improvements and performance standards.

Salary Range- $28.70
