Job summary

Leeco Steel is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Joshua, TX, who will also cover Alvarado maintenance as needed. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with travel to other Leeco locations as required.

You will repair and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical or electronic systems in an industrial environment, install wiring, diagnose faults, and support safety and quality programs in line with regulatory codes.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose oxyfuel, plasma and drilling equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with vibration monitoring and pipefitting is preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand basic schematics and perform testing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on machinery in an industrial setting.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems using test equipment.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at all levels.
• Travel to other Leeco sites as needed.
