Job summary

Senior Flexonics Inc. (Bartlett) seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and facilities systems in a manufacturing environment.

You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to equipment breakdowns to keep production running. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience, strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes and power transmission, and a solid safety background.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment written test required.
• 8+ years of experience as Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, motors, valves, and power transmission equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment and facility systems with minimal supervision.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, adjustments, alignments, and mechanical rebuilds.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting of motors, sensors, controls, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work from CMMS work orders and/or supervision directions.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes; perform electrical tests and replace defective parts.
• Install and modify equipment per local codes; diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and update wiring diagrams.
• Test, repair, or replace defective machine components and units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders.
• Assist in training departmental staff.
• Specify and order materials to support maintenance needs.
