Job summary

Bartlett in Wilsons Mills, NC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment used in flour milling, grain handling, and food production. Schedule

This job will be mostly day hours, with some overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Position Overview

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving equipment used in flour milling, grain handling, and food production operations. This hands‑on role includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance; diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; installing and rebuilding production equipment; interpreting technical drawings and schematics; documenting work through the CMMS; and safely operating maintenance tools and equipment. Successful candidates will support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, food safety, quality, and workplace organization.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, food safety, GMP, HACCP, and company policies.
  • Available to work overtime and weekends.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations and emergency callouts as required.
  • Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications).
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements
  • This job can be physically strenuous.
  • You will be expected to work in tight and confined spaces.
  • You will work at heights.
  • You must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more.
  • This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders.
  • You will be required to wear PPE.
