Job summary

Mister Car Wash in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to keep our car wash sites running safely and efficiently. You’ll apply electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic skills to install, maintain, and repair equipment across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
• Electrical experience including exposure to 3-phase high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, control wiring and powered equipment, and VFD/PLC troubleshooting (preferred).
• Solid skills in at least four of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Welding, Pneumatics, Plumbing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best.
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
• Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3‑phase power.
• Travel across your market in a company provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
• Build strong relationships with teammates who rely on your technical expertise.
• Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations reflecting our commitment to excellence.
• Take advantage of travel opportunities to gain exposure to new equipment and best practices.

You’re driven, hands‑on, and ready to be part of a team that gets things done. Ideally, you have:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred)
• Electrical experience, including exposure to:
  • 3-phase high-voltage systems
  • Low-voltage systems
  • AC/DC electrical systems
  • Control wiring and powered equipment
  • VFD and PLC troubleshooting (preferred)

• Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders)
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire)
