Job summary

Sedron Technologies in Casco, WI, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain a range of industrial equipment. You will work with engineers and operators to install, repair, and optimize piping, compressors, pumps, and related systems, while adhering to safety and 5S practices.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman’s card or an electro-mechanical degree, 3+ years of maintenance experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman’s card in a mechanical trade or electro-mechanical degree.
  • 3+ years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Know hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Pipefitting, welding, fabrication, and rigging experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues with a variety of industrial mechanical components.
  • Maintain and repair compressors, machinery, forklifts, cranes, boilers, pumps.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot piping systems.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational processes.
  • Work individually and in multidisciplinary teams with technicians and engineers.
  • Adhere to safety, 5S, and HazMat practices.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Industrial Maintenance Technician in Casco, WI!

Sedron is a leading provider of circular waste management technologies for agricultural manure and municipal biosolids processing, deploying facilities across several North American regions.Since its founding in 2014, Sedron has pioneered innovative solutions, including the patented Varcor® system, to transform waste into clean water, organic fertilizer, and carbon-negative commodities. Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for an individual who can meet the following essential functions of the position:

  • Rely on their mechanical and technical background to troubleshoot issues with a variety of industrial mechanical components
  • Maintain and repair compressors, machinery, forklifts, cranes, boilers, pumps, etc.
  • Use cranes, forklifts, man lifts and scissors lifts
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required; must be mechanically inclined
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot piping systems
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational processes and procedures for a new facility
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
  • Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
  • Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
  • Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
  • Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams of technicians, engineers, and operators

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman’s card in a mechanical trade or an electro-mechanical, or similar, technical degree
  • Three or more years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred, yet a background in similar work experience will be considered
  • Must understand hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
  • Pipefitting, welding, fabrication, and rigging experience preferred
  • TIG Welding experience preferred
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Compensation for this role is between $28 to $45 hourly
  • Additional pay may apply for off-shift hours, off-site work, or special assignments
  • This role may qualify for a discretionary bonus, recognizing outstanding contributions to team and company success
  • In compliance with state and local pay transparency laws, the expected compensation for this role is shared above. The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role and the final offer will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may be adjusted within this range to reflect regional cost-of-living differences in states where Sedron is hiring.
