Job summary

Lasercraft in North Ridgeville, OH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our facility and equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventative maintenance, light electrical and plumbing work, and use hand and power tools to repair and install equipment, working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• Experience with hand and power tools in a maintenance setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and manlifts.
• Perform light electrical repairs and basic plumbing maintenance.
• Complete painting, building repairs, and general facility maintenance projects.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance work.
• Lift, move, and install heavy equipment safely.
• Work from ladders and elevated platforms following safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress.

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our facility and equipment while ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Safely operate forklifts and manlifts.
• Perform light electrical repairs and basic plumbing maintenance.
• Complete painting, building repairs, and general facility maintenance projects.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance and repair work.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in industrial or facility maintenance preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Experience safely using hand tools and power tools.
• Forklift and manlift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified).
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work.
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
