Qualifications

Industrial Maintenance Technician in Lafayette, Indiana

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. This individual will be responsible for maintaining machines and building repair, problem resolutions and time management. The ideal candidate will possess a mechanical background, ability to read blueprints, and more listed below.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $25/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 1st and 2nd shifts available
• Located in Lafayette, Indiana

Duties and Responsibilities

• Setting up machines for various products
• Trouble-shooting hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Repair, rebuild and welding
• Lubrication, hand truck repair
• Building repair and maintenance
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
• Other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements and Qualifications

• Mechanical background
• Welding-Tig/Stick
• Read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic)
• Plumbing skills (water, air and hydraulic)
• Ammonia Refrigeration knowledge
• Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Strong team player
• Communication skills: ability to communicate with a multitude of plant personnel as well as maintenance personnel
• The ability to work at heights up to 25’ a ladder or man lift
• Must be motivated and willing to learn new tasks
• The ability to work weekends is necessary
