Job summary

Idemitsu Lubricants America is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Jeffersonville, IN. The role supports electrical and mechanical repairs, welding, and equipment installation across filling, blending, tank farm, and warehouse areas. Normal shift is 10am–6:30pm in Jeffersonville.

You will maintain utilities, building, and equipment with a focus on safety and reliability, collaborating with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience (3+ years in Maintenance).
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair across electrical, mechanical, and instrument systems.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under high-pressure conditions.
• Comfortable working with chemicals and following safety procedures.
• On-call availability on rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Tackle electrical repairs and installations from 5V control wiring to 480V 3‑phase systems.
• Handle mechanical repairs from quick fixes to full equipment rebuilds.
• Fabricate and weld projects, simple and complex.
• Use PCs, Windows apps, and PLC troubleshooting or programming as needed.
• Jump in where needed and work different shifts as directed by management.

What You’ll Need To Succeed As A Maintenance Technician

• Associate degree or equivalent experience (3+ years in Maintenance)
• Strong knowledge of all areas of maintenance and repair
• Ability to stay calm and effective under high-pressure conditions
• Comfortable working in various environments
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and perform continuous walking
• Willing to work around chemicals and follow all safety procedures
• Must be flexible to work on-call and carry a cell phone on a rotating schedule
