Job summary

PiovanGroup is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Franklin, PA plant. You will inspect, repair and maintain plant facilities and equipment, supporting uptime and safety across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.

Reporting to the VP of Vertical Integration, you will read blueprints, perform preventative maintenance, manage parts inventory, and document costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in electrical 3 phase, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry knowledge.
• Proficient reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to troubleshoot failures and minimize downtime.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand long periods, and climb ladders.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• System Maintenance - facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, heating, and general grounds.
• Equipment Care – electrical / mechanical / hydraulic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Routine preventative maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly.
• Facility Upkeep - exterior building maintenance and general upkeep, ensuring inspections for fire protection systems, hoists/lifts, and industrial trucks.
• Safety Compliance – follow prescribed safety protocols like Lock-out-Tag-out, fall protection.
• Documentation - record maintenance log and costs in computer system.
• Maintenance Parts inventory – order and maintain inventory of common parts.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Franklin, PA

Role

The Industrial Maintenance Technician inspects, repairs and maintains the facilities and equipment in our plant. This position reports to the Vice President of Vertical Integration and is located in our plant in Franklin, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities

• System Maintenance - facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, heating, and general grounds.
• Equipment Care – electrical / mechanical / hydraulic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
• Facility Upkeep - Carry out routine exterior building maintenance and general upkeep, while ensuring all required inspections are completed for fire protection systems, hoists/lifts, and industrial trucks.
• Safety Compliance – Perform tasks following prescribed safety protocols – Lock-out-Tag-out, fall protection etc.
• Documentation - Record maintenance log and costs in computer system.
• Maintenance Parts inventory – Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of common parts.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
