Job summary

Knife River seeks a Plant Maintenance Technician to support construction materials operations at our Bismarck, ND facility. You’ll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment including conveyors, crushers, mixers, and motors to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, basic welding and fabrication, lubrication, and equipment adjustments. Work closely with a safety-focused, team-oriented crew while gaining training and advancement

Qualifications

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment including conveyors, crushers, mixers, and motors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.
• Apply basic welding and fabrication as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and adjust equipment for optimal operation.
• Work with a safety-focused, team-oriented crew and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment including conveyors, crushers, mixers and motors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and lubrication on rotating equipment.
• Assist with basic welding and fabrication tasks as required.
• Make equipment adjustments and document maintenance activities.
