Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Bradenton, FL is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians to keep bakery operations running safely and efficiently. You will rotate through different areas, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and apply mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and technical training is a plus. The role emphasizes safety, environment, and adherence to company policies; a strong hands-on mindset and willingness to train

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
• Industrial maintenance experience preferred but not required for entry-level roles.

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, and general shop practices.
• Perform proper component lubrication and assist with preventive maintenance as needed.
• Support environmental and maintenance programs and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Possess or obtain licenses required to work with boilers, refrigeration components, and related equipment.

Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency is achieved by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, with safety and quality standards being a top priority. They must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various areas of the bakery. Industrial Maintenance Technicians must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire on-going training due to ever evolving technological improvements and performance standards.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs

• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
• Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment

Salary Range- 28.70
