Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Bradenton, FL to maintain bakery equipment and ensure safety and quality standards.

This role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to rotate through different bakery areas, with ongoing training on evolving technology and performance standards. You will learn safe work habits, assist with lubrication and preventive maintenance, and support environmental and maintenance programs while maintaining a clean, safe work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification a plus.
• Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
• Possess or attain licenses required by municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, and general shop practices.
• Perform proper component lubrication and assist with preventive maintenance, as needed.
• Practice environmental and maintenance program knowledge.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, including schedule adherence and attendance.
• Possess or attain licenses required by state or local regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and related equipment.

Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency is achieved by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, with safety and quality standards being a top priority. They must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various areas of the bakery. Industrial Maintenance Technicians must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire on-going training due to ever evolving technological improvements and performance standards.

Salary Range- 28.70
