Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This hands-on role maintains production equipment, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, and supports safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and familiarity with PLCs, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains & sprockets, pumps.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Familiarity with VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and motor controls.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair and replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, valves, and other components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Install and wire motors, sensors, VFDs, and other electrical components.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using a CMMS system.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with plant safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
