Requirements
- Vocational or technical certification in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment (intermediate level)
- Working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems (intermediate level)
- Demonstrated independent problem-solving capabilities (intermediate level)
- Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software; familiarity with Allen Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware preferred (intermediate level)
- Understanding of 24VDC control systems, photoelectric & proximity sensors (intermediate level)
- Experience with programming/troubleshooting servo and stepper motors and related software (intermediate level)
- Ability to troubleshoot/program barcode scanners and vision systems (intermediate level)
- Knowledge of warehouse maintenance safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out, fall restraint, and forklift/MHE safety (intermediate level)
- Knowledge of operating MHE such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc. (intermediate level)
- Ability to work independently safely, including at heights
Responsibilities
- Ensure preventive maintenance entries are complete and accurate
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems effectively
- Maintain spare parts and inventory in accordance with procedures
- Participate in developing and improving maintenance policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area, ready for facility tours
- Ensure compliance with GMPs
- Establish work schedules to meet operational and preventive maintenance demands
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Participate actively in safety and lean programs, supporting Ryder culture
