Job summary

Steam Power in Atlanta (Chamblee, GA) is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and modify plant machinery, including PLCs, CNCs, robotics, and control panels, while ensuring safety and uptime.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar field, the ability to lift 45 lbs, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Shift schedules rotate after training, with overtime available but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Technical knowledge: PLCs, Computers & IT, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining.
• Must be able to climb stairs and operate motorized equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems.
• Fabricate and machine components for repairs and modifications.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, CNCs, robotics, and related electronics.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment and machine components.
• Document work performed in writing or electronically.
• Continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
