Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center. Shift 2B runs Tuesday to Friday from 5:30p to 3:30a with a base rate of $29.55/hr plus $1/hr shift differential.

You will maintain and repair facility equipment and conveyors, following PM standards and documenting work in our asset management system. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, a technical degree or certificate, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training is required.
• 2-year vocational/technical certificate preferred in mechanical or electrical field.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Welding, burning and cutting experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness and ability to follow LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards and LOTO.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment related to site facility and conveyors.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects safely.
• Take on other duties to support DC operations.
