Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift in Rockford, IL. You will repair, maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers, and perform preventive maintenance and welding as needed.

The role requires standing for long periods, reading maintenance literature in English, and collaborating with Maintenance Technician I and outside service teams. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and boiler chemical testing.
• Respond to emergency alarms and mentor Maintenance Technician I.
• Maintain inventory, prepare maintenance records, and monitor third-party work.
