Job summary

Bocar US, Inc. in Tanner, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production machinery with minimal supervision.

You will troubleshoot and install mechanical and electrical equipment while following safety policies. The ideal candidate has at least three years of relevant experience in manufacturing, strong reading and communication skills, and the ability to work various shifts including overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of relevant maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing operation.
• Proficient reading and writing English and basic math.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic and mechanical systems on production machinery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install mechanical and electrical equipment in compliance with plant policies.
• Repair and maintain motors, pneumatic and hydraulic components, conveyors, and production line equipment.
• Read diagrams, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications for installations and repairs.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring/testing instruments.
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines; work overtime as needed.
